The Jewlr Heart is handcrafted by overlaying a silver or gold metal heart with polymer clay. Inspired by an ancient Italian technique called Millefiori (which means "a thousand flowers"), the clay is formed into various patterns and colors and sculpted onto the heart. The clay is then baked in an oven and coated in a glossy clear enamel, giving it a glasslike rich look.
