Spring must haves under $25
March 7th, 2012 by Bianca6 budget friendly additions for a new spring wardrobe.
After weeks of spring fashion forecasts the season is finally on our doorstep! Soon we’ll all be picnicking in parks, eating lunch on our patios and trading short drives to the store for quick bicycle rides to the market. With so many outdoor activities on the horizon, these spring essentials will ensure you’re stylish and comfortable wherever you are. And with everything under $25, they’ll be no need to break the bank.
The Silk Scarf
This beautiful silk scarf from Forever21 inspired my budget friendly spring outfit selection. Mixing some of the season’s hottest colors like mint and coral, this scarf can be worn around the neck, head or casually tied to a sling bag. The detailed floral pattern and alternating stripes make it a spring-time essential.
The Messenger Satchel
For bicycle rides and long strolls you’ll want to forgo a shoulder bag for a small structured satchel instead. This white messenger bag is big enough for all the usual handbag contents and will match most spring ensembles.
The Cap-Sleeved T-Shirt
Every well-stocked closet should have a selection of round necked and cap sleeved t-shirts. Picking up on the coral in the scarf I spotted this classic t-shirt from Target. At just $9.99 it’s the kind of item you should buy in every color.
The All-Purpose Shorts
Mint green was all the rage on the spring fashion runways and Old Navy has used just the right shade on this pair of canvas shorts.
The Espadrille
While sandals always look great with shorts, the espadrille is back with no sign of it disappearing soon. If you don’t have a pair already, this navy and white striped version will suit everything from summer frocks to fitted denims.
The Lacquered Bangle
Finally, still inspired by the colors in the silk scarf, a blue lacquered bangle completes the look. It’s easily stacked and looks great when mixed and matched with other bracelets.
