March 7, 2022. Lublin, Poland. Oksana fled Ukraine from Charkov with her children and pets. Her sister stayed behind with their grandmother who has dementia and doesn't understand
what's going on. She has not been able to reach them since she left Ukraine and doesn't know if they're safe. She's happy the children are in a safe place where they aren't woken up by
the sound of planes that are dropping bombs, not knowing where the next bomb will fall. Photo: Netherlands Red Cross
